Beatrice Stern joined the UK government in 2003 as Labour minister Hilary Benn’s special adviser at the Department for International Development before moving with him to Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
She previously worked as a media officer at the Institute for Public Policy Research think tank, where she co-authored reports on the justice system and e-government. [1]
