Israel Borovich was Chairman of the Board of El Al Israel Airlines Ltd. (2005-2008), and President and CEO, Knafaim – Arkia Holdings Ltd (1993 - 2006).[1]
In 2005, considered selling his stake in Knafaim-Arkia Holdings to Poju Zabludowicz, who was building up his stake in the company in an apparent failed takeover bid. In 2008, Borovich said of Zabludowicz, "His name and connections open doors for us in Britain and the United States, and improves our image among the analysts."[2]
