Marcus Agius is the former group chairman of Barclays.[1] In July 2012, he announced his resignation over the LIBOR rate-rigging scandal[2] and was later replaced by Sir David Walker. Despite being retired Agius attended the high powered Bilderberg conference held in Hertfordshire, UK in June 2013, along with David Wright vice chairman of Barclays. [3]. He also attended the 2014 Bilderberg conference in Copenhagen.
