Armand Laferrère Senior Vice President, Commercial Development, and Deputy to the Chief Commercial Officer at AREVA as of 2011.[1] He joined AREVA in 2004 having posts successively as group head of Strategy and Audit at AREVA NP and as Deputy Vice President, Strategy for the AREVA group, President of AREVA Canada Inc. (2006), President of AREVA Russia (2009) and Senior Vice President, Group’s Major Projects Offers, within AREVA’s International & Marketing Department (2010).[1] Prior to joining the company he was an advisor to the former French minister of the interior, Nicolas Sarkozy. In 2005 he was a member of the board of directors of the Franco-Israeli Friendship Association. [2] In 2012 Laferrère was listed as a member of the Board of the Paris based neoconservative think tank the Jean Jacques Rousseau Institute.[3]
Laferrère has written two articles (in 2005 and 2006) for Azure Online a journal published by the Israeli based Shalem Center.[2]
