The Chartered Institute of Taxation is the "apolitical" professional body in the UK for advisers dealing with all aspects of taxation.[1]

- Vincent Oratore, President of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. Oratore is a member of the Treasury's Tax Professionals Forum.
- John Whiting, Tax Policy Director at the Chartered Institute of Taxation. Whiting is also Tax Director of the Office of Tax Simplification.[2] He had a long career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he was a tax partner for 25 years.
