Lisa Barclay was a part-time special adviser to the former secretary of state for education and employment David Blunkett.[1] She now works as a director at Social Finance, 'a not for profit organisation that partners with the government, the social sector and the financial community to find better ways of tackling social problems in the UK and beyond.' [2]

Background

Barclay graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge University and an MBA from London Business School. She co-founded e-government software company E-Government Solutions. She has also worked as a consultant for Marakon Associates. In 2004, Barclay joined Bridges Community Ventures as an Associate.[3]

Barclay is credited with being on the Editorial Team of a 1994 Demos Quarterly publication by the think-tank Demos.[4]
