Hi I'm Tommy Sheridan, born in Glasgow on 7th March, 1964

I attended St Monicas primary, Lourdes sec and Stirling University from 1981 to 1985 and graduated with a joint honours degree in Econmics and Politics.

I am a socialist and magpie Marxist. I was an elected socialist councillor on Glasgow City Council between 1992 and 2003 and a socialist member of the Scottish Parliament between 1999 and 2007.

I am currently a joint convenor of the socialist party Solidarity, in Scotland, studying for a Masters degree in Social Research at Strathclyde University and a part time radio presenter on Talk 107 every Saturday and Sunday mornings.

I am married with a gorgeous wee daughter called Gabrielle.
