Laurence Brian Davis is a British businessman known for founding the fashion discount retailer Choice Discount Stores in 1993.[1] The chain specialised in men's, women's, and children's apparel across five physical stores and an online platform before its acquisition by Frasers Group from JD Sports in December 2023.[1] Following the takeover, the Choice website was redirected to the Frasers-owned luxury outlet Flannels, and around 30 head office positions were placed at risk of redundancy.[1] Davis subsequently joined Frasers Group in a professional capacity.[2]

Davis was born in the August 1960[3] in the Romford district of Essex, England, to a mother whose maiden name was Mintz.[4] Davis attended The Royal Liberty School in 1975 and New City College in Redbridge in 1976.[1]
