Mark Hanson is a former British Army captain and diplomat .He has been a partner at Hakluyt & Company in Singapore since 2002.
Career
Hanson started his career as a captain in the British Army[1], before working as a diplomat for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office between September 1992 and December 1998. He then moved on to become a consultant at Bain & Company from March 2000 until June 2002.
He became a director of the Modern Pentathlon Association of Great Britain from April 2008 until June 2011. He was then a partner at Pelorus Research from November 2011 to May 2013. He was deputy chairman of UK Sport from June 2011 until June 2014.[2]
He has been a partner of Hakluyt & Company since September 2002.[3]
Education
- Read history at University of Cambridge from 1985-1988, attending Dehli University for a year in 1985,
- Completed a Master of Business Administration at NSEAD in 1999.
