David Yarkony is a former colonel in the Israeli Army and an adviser to the Pakistan-Israel Peace Forum.
According to Ikram Sehgal a Pakistani defence and economic affairs analyst who visited Israel in 2003 and was shown around by Yarkovny: 'An Israeli of Hungarian origin, Col. David Yarkony is an extraordinary human being and a great friend of Pakistan, a country he has never visited.'[1]
