Jonathan Jacobson is a trustee of the Jacobson Family Foundation Trust, a 501(c)(3) non profit foundation that supports a number of Jewish and pro-Israel causes. He is the co-founder and CEO of Highfields Capital Management, an investment management company which 'manages private investment funds for endowments, charitable and philanthropic foundations, pension funds and other institutional and private investors'.[1] Jacobson received a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.[1]
