Sian Jones is a former special adviser to Philip Hammond, working with him when he was secretary of state for transport (2010-2011)[1] and secretary of state for defence (2011-2014) [2]
Background
Jones previously worked for think-tank Demos, specialising in radicalisation, security and international relations. She has a masters degree in Security Studies from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.[3]
