Career

Rucker founded The White Company after struggling to find high-quality but affordable bed linen and tableware for her boyfriend's new flat. Starting off with a small government grant and a £6,000 grant from her grandmother, the company earned £6.5 million in 2015 and Rucker and her husband are worth an estimated £295 million.[1]

Personal life

Support for the Conservatives

On the 1 April 2015 Rucker was one of the 103 business leaders who wrote to the telegraph praising the Conservative's economic policies and claiming a Labour government would 'threaten jobs and deter investment' in the UK.[3]
