Chris Rumfitt is Managing Director, Public Affairs at Edelman. [1] [2]
Biography
According to Edelman's website Chris Rumfitt:
- ...specialises in complex issues management challenges in sectors including energy, transport, property, construction and infrastructure.
- He advises a wide range of companies including property developer Capital & Counties, Balfour Beatty, Capital Shopping Centres and Farrell & Partners. He has also done a considerable amount of work in the energy sector, in particular advising E.ON on high profile issues around nuclear new build.
- Before joining Edelman, Chris spent the previous five years as Head of External Communications at Network Rail, where he led that high-profile company’s public affairs, media relations, crisis communications and community relations activity.
- Earlier in his career he worked in the Press Office at 10 Downing Street for Prime Minister Tony Blair, for the Labour Party in the 1997 General Election campaign.[3]
