Aeneas Lavinium is the pseudonym of British-based Counterjihad blogger [1] Chris Knowles. Knowles was suspended from his post in the children's services department of Leeds City Council in 2011 after Unite Against Fascim exposed him as a director of the well funded US-based organisation, the Centre for Vigilant Freedom, which 'exists to promote Islamophobia internationally'.

Background
In a YouTube interview with Politically Incorrect, Aeneas stated "I come from a small town just outside Leeds. It's not very Islamised. There are certain parts of Leeds that are Islamised."[2]
Center for Vigilant Freedom
In an 8 July 2007 blog comment at the Lionheart blog, Aeneas invited Paul Ray to join the Center for Vigilant Freedom's blog network, stating:
