Ivor Caplin (born 08 November 1958, Brighton) is a former UK defence minister and the former Labour MP for Hove.
After the 2001 election he joined the government payroll as an assistant whip and was appointed junior defence minister in June 2003. He kept his ministerial position until April 2005.[1]
He now runs his own company, Ivor Caplin Consultancy, which he set up in August 2005. [2]
