He is a Special Assistant to Larry Klayman. He has co-written articles for the far-right Frontpage Magazine with Beila Rabinowitz of Militant Islam Monitor.

BBC and NPR reports
In February 2007, both the BBC and NPR ran a news segment about a group calling for oil companies to guarantee the ethical origin of their oil so that it doesn't "support terrorists". The source for the segment was a website TerrorFreeOil.org (TFO). The BBC article cites Joe Kaufman as its source.[1]
