Wilhelm Vorher
Wilhelm Vorher was appointed Project Director of Forest Technology Platform (FTP) on 15 May 2007 - a European industry group promoting the interests of forest owners and those involved in the forestry industry.

Background
Prior to taking the position with FTP, Mr Vorher had been acting as Managing Director of THOSCA HOLZ GmbH, the joint venture of Metsaliito and SCA responsible for the procurement of wood for the stakeholders' mills in Central Europe. At the time of taking his position at FTP, Vorher also held various key positions within German and international forestry, including his chairmanship of the European Commission's Advisory Group on Forestry and Cork.[1]
