Teaching About Terrorism: University of Warwick
University of Warwick Teaching About Terrorism is a 2009/10 research project funded by C-SAP, one of the Higher Education Academy's subject networks. The project aims to research the extent and nature of teaching about terrorism in UK Universities, primarily in the disciplines of Sociology, Politics and Criminology[1].

- The institution has a module approval process which requires that departments set out the module aims, learning outcomes and are asked to provide a bibliography for the module, amongst a range of other data. There is not an explicit requirement on the committees considering these proposals that they review them specifically for safety and risk under terrorism legislation, although the committee could, and perhaps should, raise such concerns if they saw fit. The primary purpose of the process is to assure the quality of teaching provision at the institution.
