- 19 - Sir John Chilcot writes to the Home Office with a draft submission in response to Sir John Blelloch's Review of Agent Handling.[3]

- 21 - John Deverell, the Security Service Director and Co-ordinator of Intelligence in Northern Ireland (DCI), tells the Stevens II Investigation that the Service thought the re-recruitment of Brian Nelson in 1987 "inadvisable".[4]
