- A highlight was when we all went to Giffnock Newton Mearns Shul on Shabbat, where I co-sponsored the kiddush.
- “Rabbi Moshe Rubin was fantastic and so welcoming. I met several people I’d known from my younger days, including Larry Sellyn and David Strang, and we all had a lovely time.
- “Another highlight was the visit I’d arranged to my old school, Hutchesons’ Grammar — though it was in Crown Street in my day. The headmaster and other staff greeted us and took us round the school. They couldn’t have been more gracious.”
- 1950 - Stanley Danelkoff - 'Stanley was active in the Glasgow Jewish community as a youngster. At 16, he was the youngest chairman of the Glasgow Zionist Organisation and then was elected national FZY vice-chairman.'[1]
