Career
Ahmed began her career at Barclaycard, part of Barclays bank, as student marketing manager and then consumer PR manager.
She was then appointed PR and communications manager at the People's United Bank and then Bank of Ireland sub business MX Financial Solutions.
In 2003 she joined Travelodge Hotels Limited as the PR manager, then head of consumer pr and is currently the communications director of the hotel chain.[1] At Travelodge she has been behind attention-grabbing stunts including 'launching mobile hotel rooms, sleep suits and cuddle pillows for hotel guests'.[2]
