Scottish Chambers of Commerce

'Chambers of Commerce comprise the world's largest business support organisation. In the UK, membership is voluntary and the Scottish Chambers, along with the British Chambers of Commerce, are prominent members of the worldwide movement of Chambers.' The worldwide movement includes the Eurochambres - [The Association of European Chambers of Commerce, the association of more than 1200 European Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the International Chamber of Commerce

Scottish Chambers publishes an Annual Report, a Quarterly Economic Survey and a Quarterly E-Survey. The Fraser of Allander Institute of the University of Strathclyde produces both the quarterly surveys on its behalf.'

Allison is Personal Assistant to the Director of Scottish Chambers of Commerce, having joined the organisation in November 2005. Allison has an extensive administration background and has come from an engineering and naval architecture company. Allison also has previous experience within the Chamber network having worked in Renfrewshire Chamber.
