Scotland International is a low profile think tank based in Scotland. The Sunday Herald describes it as 'an annual gathering of Scottish business leaders'[1]

Scotland International:

was launched in 1995 - when Scotland's politicians still thought global connections were all about luring as much inward investment to Scotland as possible - as a private-sector initiative to engage with Scotland's neglected diaspora. Now the fiefdom of Sir Angus Grossart, Scotland International has spawned commercial initiatives like Scottish Knowledge and Scottish Medicine. One of its most recent forays was into enterprise education in primary schools. However, with few resources of its own, SI has always struggled to build up its network. The numbers attending the summit from overseas have been dwindling in recent years. [2]
