Roger Walsom
Appointed to the board of St James's Place Group as an independent non-executive director on 22 July 2005, he is a member of the Risk Committee. After several years in the insurance industry, he graduated in law at Southampton University and qualified as a solicitor in 1980. He became a senior associate at Ashurst, a leading city law firm, in 1986 and a Partner in 1988, specialising in the financial services industry. He retired as a full-time Partner in April 2005 but continues to work as a part-time consultant for Ashurst. He is also a non-executive director of the Pensions Regulator and of INVESCO Income Growth Trust plc [1]
