Rachel Friend is the chair of consumer marketing, UK and EMEA at lobbyists Weber Shandwick.

Career
From 1998 to 2008, Friend worked for lobbyists Hill and Knowlton, most notably as the managing director of consumer PR.
She then joined supermarket Sainsburys as the head of consumer PR.
In 2010, Friend joined lobbyists Weber Shandwick as the managing director of consumer marketing and in 2013 was promoted to chair of consumer marketing UK and EMEA.[1]
Friend has also worked as a press officer for The National Magazine Company, working on titles such as Cosmopolitan, Harpers & Queen and Esquire.[2]
