Peter Carter
Peter Carter is chief executive and general secretary of the Royal College of Nursing. He is also a member of the advisory panel for the Associate Parliamentary Health Group having gained a huge amount of experience in the health industry. He spent almost twelve years as the chief executive of the Central and North West London Mental Health NHS Trust, one of the largest mental health trusts in the UK, as well as working as a Psychiatric nurse. Carter was awarded the OBE for services to the National Health Service in 2006.
