Owen Thompson
Owen Thompson has been the Scottish National Party (SNP) Member of Parliament for Midlothian since May 2015. [1]
Thompson defeated the Labour Party candidate Kenny Young with a majority of 9,859. [2] Young replaced David Hamilton, who had served the seat since 2001, but failed to retain the seat for Labour due to a rise in popularity for the SNP in 2015. [3]
