Dr Olga Josephs (born 1896, nee Herzberg) 'died peacefully in her home on 10 February 1993.' [1]
- Olga Josephs obtained her D.M.D. degree from the University of Cologne in 1920. Her schedule was accepted by the G.M.C. in 1935 and she was placed on the Foreign List of the Dentists Register. She was a relative of Sir Ernest Cassel, the banker and industrialist, and she was able to elicit the help of Edwina Mountbatten as a guarantor; there were thus no problems with permission to practice from the Home Office when she arrived in this country in 1935290.[2][3]
