Office of Iranian Affairs
Office of Iranian Affairs is a unit established at the US State Department with a view to bringing about regime-change in Iran. It works closely with the Pentagon based Iranian Directorate. The unit is headed by David Denehy, a longtime 'democracy promotion' specialist at the International Republican Institute, who will work under Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Elizabeth Cheney, daughter of the vice president.
