National Jewish Democratic Council
The National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) works as a liaison group between America's Jewish community and the Democratic Party.
This is how the Philadelphia Jewish Voice describes the NJDC:
- Founded in 1990, the National Jewish Democratic Council is the national voice of Jewish Democrats. Informed by our commitment to those values shared by the Democratic Party and the vast majority of American Jews - including the separation of church and state, a strong US-Israel relationship, and reproductive freedom.[1]

Activities
NJDC channels PAC funds to candidates of its choice. In a fundraising letter in which it recommends certain candidates for election to the Congress of 2006, it describes the NJDC "core issues" as "a women's [sic] right to choose, a strong U.S.-Israel relationship, and the separation of church and state".[2]
