About
Established in 1983, MER aims to provide medical education for members of the medical community. The company is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME); provides medical education symposia and education materials for doctors; is an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC) and Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. The company sponsors seminars and educational materials and holds more than three hundred annual CME programs nationally and internationally which are attended by more than 80,000 physicians a year. MER jointly sponsors and co-sponsor seminars with medical organisations such as the American Academy of Neurology, the American Heart Association, the National Stroke Association, the National Pain Society, the Endocrine Society, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation amongst other institutions.".[3]
