Livingstone served as the chairman of the Glasgow Jewish Community Trust for 23 years, retiring in June 2023.[1]
Livingstone announced the opening of the Lubavitch Rabbi's Chaim Jacobs Kosher restaurant 'L'Chaim's', in the Giffnock Synagogue complex, explaining that the restaurant would be run by the directors of Lubavitch of Scotland Chaim and his wife Sora Jacobs.[2]
He is married to Myra Livingstone have three children- Neil Livingstone, Derek Livingstone, and Cara Livingstone.
