Counter revolutionary operations
According to Land Operations Volume III - Counter Revolutionary Operations, Part 1 - Principles and General Aspects:
- 'Between the end of World War II and 1st January 1969, Britain's forces have had to undertake a wide variety of military commitments and only in Europe, after the formation of NATO, has there been real stability.
