- In January 2026 Jon Tyler was elected National Chair of AJEX - The Jewish Military Association (of which Jonathan Maurice Tyler has been a director since May 2025), succeeding Dan Fox. He is a former SAS reservist, commissioned in 1985, who left as a captain in 1989, and he had been AJEX Parade Commander since 2024. According to his AJEX biography he jointly owns and runs an IT recruitment business.[5]
