Jonathan James Muschamp Lewis (born October 1961)
In 2023 he received an honorary PhD from Kingston University in recognition of his business achievements and contributions to social mobility and opportunity creation.[1]
In the same 2023 Kingston University speech he stated:
- “Education has been a constant in my life — not just formal qualifications, but continuous learning through experience, reading, and listening to others. That mindset has been essential to everything I’ve achieved.”[2]
In 2023, Lewis received an honorary PhD from Kingston University in recognition of his business achievements and philanthropic contributions, particularly in advancing social mobility and opportunity creation. During the ceremony he remarked:
- “Business can be a powerful force for good when it is grounded in ethics, diversity and a commitment to creating opportunities for others. I’ve tried to live by those principles throughout my career.”[3]
