John Walker
John Walker is the national chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses
Career
Walker worked at a high street bank for 16 years before becoming self employed in 1987. He purchased a local off licence and food shop which he sold years later and is currently involved in property investments.
In 1997 Walker joined the Federation of Small Businesses in England and subsequently joined the policy committee in May 1999. He was elected national policy chairman in September 2001, retired from the post in May 2010 and was elected national chairman in March 2010.[1]
