Background

He previously worked in the UK Parliament for MPs and Peers including a Shadow Trade and Investment Minister, a former energy minister and a member of the trade and industry Select Committee. He has also worked in Brussels, where he led a policy research team for a European think-tank, and before this was a trainee journalist in South India with the New Indian Express and NDTV.
