James Cleverly
James Cleverly has been the Conservative Party MP for Braintree since May 2015. [1]
Cleverly stood for his first election in May 2015 following the retirement of Conservative MP Brooks Newmark, [2] who had previously held the Braintree seat since 2005. Cleverly gained a majority of 17,601 votes in the 2015 general election. [3]
