IREB is a Paris based NGO created in 1971 by producers of alcoholic beverages. Their aim is to reduce harm caused by their products and to contribute to the policy debates surrounding alcohol related harm. The primary focus of IREB is alcohol related research, which is undertaken by paid staff and volunteers. [1]
