IME LLC is a 'full-service medical education organization company that focuses exclusively on certified continuing medical education (CME)'. It claims to comply with ACCME, OIG, PhRMA, AMA and FDA guidelines. [1]
History
In keeping with the 'evolving regulatory environment', the organization set up three divisions dedicated to health care education in 2004: Acumentis; Emeritus; and Imprint.
- '...Acumentis, Emeritus and Imprint were among the first medical education oganizations in the industry established as a result of the creation of physical firewalls implemented between the CME and promotional educational groups by their Sudler & Hennessey Group / WPP Company parent organization.' The three divisions partnered in 2007 and set up 'Centers of Excellence', merging formally in 2008 as IME.
