Career
In 1993 Osmond worked with Luke Johnson to launch the flotation of pizza chain PizzaExpress. During his seven years on the board of the restaurant their annual losses of £0.5 million were turned into£38 million profits.
In 1997 he founded Punch Taverns; one of the UK's largest chains of public houses and was chairman from 1997 to 2001.
In 2002 he became a leading partner in Sun Capital Partners. They have since acquired Pearl, Resolution Plc, Phoenix Group and Strada.[1]
Politics
Criticism
In April 2015 Osmond criticised both the Conservative and Labour parties, saying they were both 'utterly cynical'.[2]
