Dame Heather Victoria Rabbatts (born December 1955) is a barrister and executive. She was appointed senior independent non-executive director of M&C Saatchi on 22 January 2024.[1] The company's board page now describes her as "the Board’s interim Executive Chair having served as the Senior Independent Director and the Non-Executive Chair".[2] M&C Saatchi holds a place on the CSSF framework and has delivered UK government strategic communications (see M&C Saatchi).
Career
A GOV.UK biography says she spent more than a decade as a local-authority chief executive, including "a turnaround at the London Borough of Lambeth". She was then a Governor of the BBC, a senior executive at Channel 4 and chairman of Shed Media, and restructured Millwall Football Club. Her non-executive roles included the Bank of England, the London School of Economics and the Royal Opera House, and she was "the first female member of the Board of the Football Association".[3]
