Background
The Force is made up of over 1500 police officers, supported by 150 Special Constables, cadets and over 850 police support staff. The Force has a gross revenue budget of £112M for 2009/2010.[1]
History
Grampian Police was formed on 16 May 1975 when the former forces of Aberdeen City Police and the Scottish North Eastern Counties Constabulary (SNECC) amalgamated on the re-organisation of local government. [2]
