Graham Freeman
Graham Freeman is a former British Army soldier with infantry, reconnaissance and covert operations experience. He was decorated for bravery in 1998 and received the Assistant Chief Police Officers Silver Provincial bravery award and The 1998 Gloucestershire award for bravery.[1]
The Sun reported in 2007 that Freeman had provided security for Kerry Katona following a burglary at her home:
- She has brought in Brookmans International Ltd, one of whose bosses, Graham Freeman, visited the house yesterday.
- Their clients have included Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman and Mel Gibson.[2]
The Star reported of the incident:
- Yesterday former cab driver Mark, who wed Kerry at Gretna Green in February, arrived at the modern house in posh Wilmslow, Cheshire, to go through all aspects of security with the company's development director Graham Freeman.
- Neither would talk about the equipment and services to be installed, although they are thought to involve cameras and sensors both inside and out.[3]
In 2009, This Is Money reported that Freeman had moved into the anti-piracy market:
- Earlier this year, one such company, Elite Maritime Protection of Northampton, was set up by Graham Freeman, 49, who already owned a private security firm called Brookmans International. Using contacts built up over years in the Army and private security, he established a group of highly skilled directors with a knowledge of not only maritime security but also the special forces.[4]
