In the press
In 1985 the Jewish Chronicle described Rabbi Mordechai Bamberger as "principal of the yeshiva and the Glasgow Kollel".[3] A 1987 letter on behalf of the kollel stated: "The raison d'etre of our organisation in Glasgow is to provide education and assistance to the Jewish community."[4] A later report, probably from December 1998, said that Rabbi Moshe Rubin had received his rabbinical diploma from the Glasgow kollel and "was appointed head of the kollel's yeshivah in 1995".[5] In 2011 the paper reported a monthly lunch club at Mearns Castle High School "run by the Glasgow Kollel".[6]
