Gerhard Buddenbaum is an aluminium industry executive with Corus. He is also an Executive Committee member of the European Aluminium Association.[1]

Biography
According to Salesfuel's Corus PLC biographies as of circa 2004:
- Gerhard Buddenbaum was appointed Aluminium Division Director and a member of the Executive Committee of Corus from 1 October 2003. Born in November 1941 in Bremen, Germany, he entered an apprenticeship at an international trading company in 1961. From 1968 to 1971 he was Marketing/Product Manager for Kaiser Aluminium Europe where he progressed to become Sales & Marketing Director, 1975 - 1991 (from 1987 Hoogovens Aluminium). He became Managing Director, Aluminium Rolled Products, Hoogovens Aluminium in 1991 and held the same position until 2003 following the merger of Koninklijke Hoogovens and British Steel in 1999 to form Corus. Mr Buddenbaum is President of the German Fabricated Aluminium Association (Fachverband Aluminiumhalbzeug); Vice Chairman of the German Aluminium Association (GDA); Board Member of the German Metals Association (WVM); Executive Committee Member of the EAA (European Aluminium Association) and Honorary Consul of the Netherlands in Germany. He is married and has two children.[2]
