The Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS) was established in 1998 and operates as "an independent, non-profit policy think tank dedicated to helping improve public policy decision-making in Georgia"[1]

Aims & Objectives

The stated aims and objectives of the institute are promoting democracy, fostering political and economic reforms, enhancing regional cooperation, creating a friendly and secure investment environment, providing local private sector and the international business community opportunities to work in the Caucasus region.[4]

Publications

GFSIS Supply research through conferences, seminars, and publications. The foundation publishes newsletters, working papers, project reports and conference proceedings in electronic and printed formats.[6].
