The European Forum on Antisemitism (EFA) was a project of the American Jewish Committee. It was founded in Berlin on March 13th, 2008, ‘at a conference of more than 50 Jewish leaders and experts from 15 European countries, the U.S. and Israel. The European Forum on Antisemitism assists Jewish leaders and experts accessing and exchanging relevant information on strategies to combat antisemitism.’[1]

Amongst its activities it undertook translations of the EUMC Working Definition of Antisemitism into 29 languages from the English original. This was part of the attempt to generalise this definition of antisemitism the key aim of which was the blur the distinction between anti-Zionism and antisemitism.

The EFoA website was last updated in 2017 and ceased to exist between July and November 2019.
