Ephraim Myer Naftalin (1892 - 1962 at 68 years in Cathcart[1]) was a prominent Glasgow based Zionist who served in the 1914-18 war with Jabotinsky.
Married Bertha Naftalin (nee Rosenzweig in 1923 in St Clement, Dundee.[2]

- 1938 - DUNDEE. A deputation from the Glasgow Jewish National Fund Commission, consisting of Messrs. E. M. Naftalin, Isidore Naftalin, Montague Jacobs, and K. Cina, Hon. Secretary of the Glasgow J.N.F. Commission, paid a visit to the Dundee congregation on Sunday, 8th May, and addressed a representative meeting held in the Dundee congregation chambers. [5]
- 1937 - At the monthly meeting of the JNF in Glasgow: 'Speaking on box work, Mr. E. M. Naftalin stated that it was his intention to carry the blue box to many of the smaller Jewish communities in Scotland, and he had plans prepared for the campaign.'[6]
- 1914-18 - The Beit Hagdudim (Jewish Legion Museum) in Israel holds short biographies and pictures of Scottish participants in the Jewish Battalion including Charles Black, Alexander Berger, N. Walport, Isadore Most, and Ephraim Myer Naftalin. Jabotinsky mentions Harry First as an ardent Zionist and promoter of the Battalion, and both Jabotinsky and Colonel Patterson praise Lieutenant Lipsey for his work recruiting among Palestinian Jews.
